Please tell me which one is correct and the reason. Thanks!
Though he may be a quiet student,he talks a lot about his favorite singers after class.
Can I change the sentence above ,using another way
like these two :
1) Quiet student as he may be ,he talks a lot about his favorite singers after class.
or
2) Quiet a student as he may be,he talks a lot about his favorite singers after class.
Which one is correct sentence?

Hello yffjcn

Sorry for the late reply but I didn't get around to answering you yesterday. I would say that both sentences are OK though I preffer the first one "Quiet student as he may be, he talks a lot about his favourite singers after class." The simple reason for this is that the "a" is not necessary.

Very elegant structure by the way though but more formal than "Though he may be a quiet student,he talks a lot about his favorite singers after class."

Hope that helps Wink
David
