Not really.
You may have a crisp reply to someone just before you bite into a crispy toasted bagel. Your shirt may be crisp because of starch, while your potato chips may be no good because they are soggy, and no longer crispy. An old newspaper may be dry and crispy with age, but the editorial in it may have a crisp analysis of politics from the 1940s.
