What is the difference between 1,2, and 3? Also does sentence 3 sound natural?
1. He had his dog running on the beach.
2. He got his dog running on the beach.
3. He kept his dog running on the beach.

1. He had his dog running on the beach. He made his dog run on the beach.
2. He got his dog running on the beach. He was running on the beach when he obtained his dog OR He made his dog run on the beach.
3. He kept his dog running on the beach. He made his dog continue to run on the beach.
