Dear teachers,
Today, at the Universtiy, I met my friend rushing to one our departments to check the results of her examination she wrote couple of weeks before.
How can I wish her?
I guess, I can not say Good luck! as she wrote her exam two weeks before.
Or should I say.... "I hope you will get good results for this one"
Could you please think of some sentences that fit to this occation?
Thank you,
Sabrina |

Hi sabrinawaiz how about giving her a hug and saying "I hope you passed". "I hope you will get good results for this one." is fine but you might want something a bit shorter, and the marks were decided on before they were made public as you rightly pointed out. "I hope you did well" would be a possibility but there is nothing wrong with "Good Luck" since everybody involved is aware of the situation and your friend probably had other things on his/her mind at that moment than the intricacies of the English tense system. Hope she made it
