The negative of used to is not usedn't to. Change the sentences to:
1. He spends much money nowadays, but he never used to.
2. He is very polite now, but he used to be impolite / but he didn't use to be / but he never used to be.
2. He is more polite than he used to be.
Hope that helps. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
