"Followed are my English and Chinese resumes."

Can I say "Followed is my resume in English and Chinese." or "Followed are my resumes in English and Chinese."?

Please tell me that which sentence is right or better.

Correct any mistakes please if there is.Please show me a better way to express what I mean if you could. Laughing

Thanks in advance.

Woodsky

Hi Woodsky,

First, you should say 'following' rather than 'followed.' Second, you would say 'following' only if the resume is part of the same document (letter). Probably you want to say 'enclosed' or 'attached' (it's interesting that these two do take the '-ed' form, but English does have many irregularities).

Enclosed - Separate documents that are sent in the same envelope.

Attached - Separate documents that are physically attached to the letter by a staple or paper clip.

As for your main question, I like the first way better. The reason is that you have only one resume. It just happens that you've made it available in two languages. Maybe if you add 'both,' the grammar will feel more comfortable, but I think it is correct as is.

Enclosed/Attached/Following is my resume in both English and Chinese.

It's a natural-sounding sentence, Woodsky. Good job, and Good Luck in your job search!
