Which is correct sentence? or both of them are OK?
1. I get the train to work.
2. I get on the train to work. |

#2 is closest. I would write I get on the train to go to work, or simply I take the train to work.
Common expressions for daily commute are:
I take the train...
I take the bus...
I take a shuttle bus...
I ride in a carpool...
I drive a/my car...
I ride a/my bike/bicycle...
I ride a/my motorcycle.... _________________ "It is impossible to speak in such a way that you cannot be misunderstood." -- Karl Popper |
