In my 17th season of coaching youth soccer, i am like one of those guys who marries the same woman three times, not realizing my mistake, thinking this go-around will somehow be different. "Do you, Coach, take this team to drive you completely mad for the next three months, till death do you part?"

Could you paraphrase "not realizing my mistake, thinking this go-around will somehow be different. "Do you, Coach, take this team to drive you completely mad for the next three months, till death do you part?" ????

Many thanks

One way to paraphrase it:

In my 17th season of coaching youth soccer, I am like someone who marries the same woman three times. I don't realize / recognize my mistake when I marry her again. I think to myself, this time it will be different.

"Do you, Coach, take this team to drive you completely mad for the next three months, till death do you part?"

[That is just a revision of one of the marriage vows: "Do you, John, take Mary as your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold . . . until death do you part?" Just carrying through the analogy between marrying the woman again and "marrying" a soccer team again, when he should know that it will drive him crazy after he starts coaching again.]
