The supply isn't ______ to the demand. We must take _____ measures.
A. enough; enough B. enough; adequate
C. adequate ; enough D. adequate; adequate
What is the difference of "enough" and "adequate" ?
OR they do not have any difference????
The purpose is to provide an opportunity to try out new ideas and to think through difficulties with fellow-learners.
Could you paraphrase this sentence? What does "think through difficulties with fellow-learners mean?
Thanks |

This is a very poor couple of sentences, and the choices for the blanks are equally poor.
In the first sentence, neither word is really right, although adequate is better than enough. To use enough, it should be rewritten, The supply isn't great enough to meet the demand.l
In the second sentence, either word would do, although again, neither is really good here. Maybe adequate is better.
A better way to express the idea:
The supply isn't sufficient to meet the demand. We must take appropriate measures.
