A kangaroo kept getting out of his enclosure at the zoo. The authorities, being desperate, increased the height of the fence again and again and it was soon over forty metres high. A camel in the next enclosure asked the kangaroo, "How high do you think they will go?"
What does "they" refer to? What does "go" mean here?

they refers to the authorities and go refers to the height of the fence.
How high do you think the authorities will raise the height of the fence? |
