I wandered reluctantly among the childrens books. I loved animals, so when I saw some books that seemed to be about animals, I started dipping into them.
It didnt occur to me at the time, but the experience was quite different from watching TV. There were images forming in my mind instead of before my eyes. And I could return to them again and again with the flip of a page.
What does the last sentence mean? Could you paraphrase it?
Does it mean " he could go back to read the books again."?
Thanks. |

The last sentence means that he could return to the images in his mind, formed by reading the pages, by returning to those pages and reading them again. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
