Hello. Could somebody please help me and let me know which of these two sentences is correct and why ?
1- Has the teacher ever heard Jackie SPEAKING French ? She's fluent.
2. Has the teacher ever heard Jackie SPEK French ? She's fluent.

1. is correct.
In 2. spek is not an English word. |

Thank you. The only thing is that I just realized that I did not want to write SPEK but SPEAK...it was a typing mistake. Would that still make number 1 correct..and number 2 ?
