hello the world! do you know any websites which could help me to find in information about the ways the grammar and vocabulary of english have been influenced after the norman conquest??

MAybe not exactly what you are looking for, but a good starter on the history of the English language would be The Story of English, a BBC/PBS video series and companion book (remember those?  ) that should be available at your local library. |
