What does "double down" mean? Down for consecutive two days?
Wall Street doubled down on its losses on Thursday, just a day after financial markets closed at their lowest point in nearly six years.

Hello Hiromichi -
It's a term used when betting in card games (esp. 'Blackjack'), which means to double the amount of your wager before receiving another card from the dealer.
so...speculators added to the 'pot' and lost again.
