Hello, everyone, this time I'd like you to make a sentence by using 'home' for a minute. (one minute later)
Time is up. The first turn would be Tom. Tom, would you announce yours? |
I made up the example.
1.If there are mistakes, could you correct me?
2.Regarding 'announce yours', is it proper expression?
Instead of it, how about 'present yours' or 'say yours' or 'speak yours'?
Could you tell me which one is correct? If not, can you recommend a
proper expression I can use in this situation?
Thanks. |

Hello, everyone, this time I'd like you to make a sentence using "home". You have one minute.
Tom is first. Tom, would you give us your sentence?
Tom, would you say your sentence?
Tom, would you read your sentence?
Tom, would you present your sentence? (Sounds a little formal for just one sentence. I think "present" is more for making a presentation of something you have spent a lot of time preparing.)
Tom, would you announce your sentence? (Usually announcing is more for making an announcement and wouldn't be used in this case. )
Tom, would you speak your sentence? (This one is not acceptable English) |
