Dear teachers:
I like to ask "foreigner" is an impolite word in USA?
If yes, how can I say someone is come from different country? Can I say "foreign people". Would you please tell me that? Thanks a lot!!

Foreigner is not an insult as far as I know.
If you want to avoid it, however, just say the person's nationality. e.g. "He's Chinese, English, Russian" whatever the case may be. |
