Using example B would make sense as long as you remember to add the contracted 's onto "It."
Example A would not make sense for a few reasons. First of all, as with example B, "That" would need the contracted 's. Instead of the word "so," the word "such" should be used when followed by an adjective and noun. The phrase "fine a day" is informal spoken English.
Also, the situation when you would use the word "that" when describing the weather would be quite specific. For example: you and the person with whom you are speaking would have to be indoors looking outside at the weather. Another example is if your conversation has already mentioned the day's weather. |
