Dear sirs,

Is the following sentence meaningful?

Tony is the only one of the students that is able to speak very good English.

If the answer is yes, are there any differences between that and the next sentence?

Tony is the only student that is able to speak very good English.

Another question is:

The kite in the shap of a tiger is made by Mr. Brown.

Can we say:

The kite with the shap of a tiger is made by Mr. Brown.

Thanks a lot.[/b]

All 4 sentences are acceptable and each pair has similar meanings, BUT:
- you should use "who" not "that" for a person.
-"shape" is the correct spelling.
- "in the shape of" sounds better than "with the shape of".
