Could you explain what is the difference between words - obstinate and stubborn ?
When would you use one and one another?

To me, the difference is this:
A person is is stubborn if he / she persists in doing / believing / saying something in spite of good evidence that he / she is wrong.
A person is obstinate if he / she refuses to do what he / she is supposed to do, or what you want him / her to do.
You might want to check a good dictionary for more information. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
