What's up, everyone? I'm japanese university student
I'd like to talk about how to learn English.
You know what, japanese people're bad at english. This is because it's the most important to study grammer in japan. Oh, come on it's sucks!!
Why don't they try to speak it?? I don't know. Anyway if you want your english to get better, let's have a lot of chances to speak. I mean you can find out its by yourself with using internet, your connection.... it doesn't matter! Morever I have certain suggestion. I think that to have BF or GF who speaks another language is the best way of studying english, isn't it? Ofcourse, being able to speak it is great, but understanding different culuture is more important, don't you think so?? |

How do you do? I am university student. It is important to learn another language. Especially, English is a must language at the present day.
I study English for eight years from junior high school through college. However, I also dont have any opportunity to practice English conversation, so that I dont speak and understand English well. Therefore, I join a speaking English circle, and watch the television of English for beginner. I take every opportunity to improve my English. |

Hello, although I am not good at English, I still want to express my opinion on learning English. Firstly, I think there is only one way to learn English well:forcing yourself to speak or write English frequently! Why? Because listening and reading are simply "receptible" skills for English learners. But, speaking and writing are "productive" skills for English learners, which means they are results of thinking. Once something is being thought by yourself, then you will be more easily to bear it in mind. And by the next time encountering similar situations, you will be able to speak out or write down your opinions naturally. Second, I think grammar is very important to English learners as well. For writing, if you have to communicate with your foreign clients through English letters, e-mails, faxs or other kinds of documents, it will be very difficult for you do these kinds of jobs if you don't have a good grammatical concept. Maybe foreigners could understand what you are writing about, but they would doubt the ability of your company if there are too many grammatical errors in your writing. By the same token, maybe foreigners could understand what you are talking about, but they might feel that you're hard to communicate with if there are too many grammatical errors in your speaking.
If you don't have the chance to speak English, that is OK. Writing more can also enhance your English skills. This forum is a wonderful place for you to practice your English writing. In addition, you can also meet a lot of friends from different countries in the world! This is so exciting! Anyway, wish you make great progress on learning English in the future! |

hello
I'm a student. My English is not good at all. I can't speak fluently in English. I even can't write well in English. This is why I think I should learn English
Some people said that, the best way to learn English is through speaking BUT I feel shy to talk in English.Sometimes I feel tongue-tied when I have to talk in English. It's make me sad when I faced that situations.
I also feel angry if I have the word in my mind but I can't express it orally.[img]
I'm thinking what make me feel like that ? BUT..............NOW I'M HAPPY
I recently join an English course at INTERNEXIA.Here I have an oppurtunity to practice all the four skills including speaking and writing.
This course really help me to improve my English. Now I'm in the lab for online learning[/img] |

If you didn't live in an English-speaking country, then the only way for you to practice your English speaking is to go to the cram school. Since English is an international language, there are cram schools for English learners almost all over the world. Take Taiwan for example, there are cram schools almost everywhere here. Some focus on the direction of entering a higher school. Some focus on everyday conversations. And some focus on English for children. For me, I choose "Global Village" as a place to improve my English. But maybe I'm too shy to talk confidently or it's more necessary for me to emphasize reading and writing at my job, I am always not a talkative person in English class. As the year of the monkey is coming, my new year's resolution is to become a talkative person when attending English classes. Wish me luck! |

hi,new guy is in the house.i'm a senior school student in shanghai/china,i'm not so good t Eng as i used to hope,in shagnhai there' s many opportunities to practise your spoken english i think, but most of the time when i see a foreigner i usually don't speak to them unless they ask me some question about the direction and what is your name and bla bla bla......,i think the most important thing of improving your Eng would be whether u have courage to speak to foreigners. i mean if u don't have the courage and u will be always losing your chances. |
