1. what word has the same meaning with ghetto?
2. There is one word I don't know how to spell it, something like this: disturbig, which has the same meaning with ghetto. What is the difference between these two?

Hello,

"Slum" has a similar meaning to "ghetto." Many people use both to mean a densely populated, poor area in a city. But, a slum and a ghetto are different - if everyone is ethnically similar, it is a ghetto and if everyone is basically poor, it is a slum.

I'm not sure what other word you are thinking of. Maybe someone else will come up with it.
