Hi

Please help me verify whether my understanding to the bold part in the following is correct or not? If not. Please show me a direction. Many thanks!

...

An audible book, however, requires the listener to mentally visualize the narrative. A video, even if no more visual than an author facing the camera, offers the appealing prospect of relief from such heavy lifting.

...

My understanding to that is- A video, even if visual, exactly like an author facing the camera, offers ... .

Thanks for your help!

Good morning!

A video, even if no more visual than an author facing the camera, offers

Some ways I would paraphrase this as:

"Even if a video shows nothing more that an author facing the camera offers..."
or
"A simple video with the author facing the camera offers..."
or
"A video with the ability to show an author sitting in front of the camera offers..."

Does that help?

Good morning! Suzanne

In fact, it's time for me to say ' good night(now, the time for Taiwan is almost midnight Smile )'.

Thanks for your elaboration! Now I got it.

Good day!

Sincerely
