here means Friday night.

Hello,
Every weekend I wake up later than usual because I always work late the night before.
This isn't bad, but it's not clear. I would include information about which night came before sleeping late:
"Every Saturday I wake up later than usual, because I always work late the night before."
or
"Since I work late on Fridays, I always wake up later than usual on Saturday mornings."
or
"When I work late on a weekend night, I always sleep late the next day."
Does that help? |
