It's not the kind of pattern someone would use in conversation, but you might see something like this in a song or a poem. In other words, it is grammatically acceptable.
Be aware that there is a broad range of English sentence patterns and grammatical constructions that native speakers would never use in conversation, but that appear on a regular basis in songs, poetry, etc. It may even depend on the time frame in which the poem or song was written.
One other thing, and this isn't really directed at you, Marrion, as much as it's a general reminder to other posters at large. Whenever you post a question about a sentence, any information you can provide about the context makes it much easier for people to give more helpful, insightful responses. Context is everything.
