========================================
[1] They go to the concert, as I do.
[2] They go to the concert, as do I.
========================================
On a web site, I saw these sentences. Which one is correct?
If all the sentences are correct, what does each of the sentences mean? |

They both mean that I also go to the concerts.
"As I do" is the more common expression. "As do I" is not wrong, but it sounds like rather old-fashioned, formal or poetic type of language. |
