This belief was my inspiration for a new version, which I hope you will enjoy as much as I enjoyed creating it.
Yes, creating it is the object of enjoyed in the above sentence. That is, the speaker really enjoyed the process of creating a new version, and he hopes the listeners will enjoy it at least as much. This is a fairly common construction, often used when someone has created something, especially a labor of love, and wants to express the idea that he hopes others will like it.
