If you like rock music, you'll definitely love the "classics" of rock, like Black Sabbath, Uriah Heep, Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd. I'd really recommend you to listen to them! |

I grew up on 80s and 90s Rock, R&B, Hip-Hop.
But my passion is for Electronic musicm, which is taking over the world.
I love going to big Rave events to see DJs like John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, DJ Dan, Derrick Carter, Judge Jules, Sasha, Deep Dish and more. I am amazed at the sounds, and I can never stop dancing whenever I listen to it.
Please check out this forum and listen to the 45 second sound clips and tell me what you think: http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/student/viewtopic.php?t=3859. You will be amazed. _________________ "The REVOLUTION will NOT be TELEVISED"

I think Black Sabbath and Uriah Heep are much more heavy metal than rock, but every one's got their own opinions of course... _________________ "Without the past there's no future..." |

I think that the music of today is so different from the music of the 1950's and 60's that it can't really be called "rock and roll." |

Since there seem to be some rock lovers on this board, maybe someone of you can tell me what "nu metal" or "nu rock" means. I believe I've heard Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park being mentioned in this context. Is there any difference to "plain" rock music? _________________ "You know, people seldom go to the trouble of scratching the surface of things to find the inner truth."
