In the context below what does "sprawling" mean?
The payments to executives in that unit are in addition to $121 million in previously scheduled bonuses for the company’s senior executives and 6,400 employees across the sprawling corporation.

| "Sprawling" here really has a similar meaning to its use in a sentence like "He was sprawling on the couch." It means that the corporation was spread out into many areas. |
