This topic seems to be rather debatable. On the one hand, it is everything which involves going to places stricken by natural or man-provoked disasters. People feel a natural interest in learniong about the consequences of such disasters and want to see things for themselves. Maybe it helps them understand the horrors and fears that were experienced by those who were in the epicenter. Or, on the other hand, this is just a mere curioisity that is fueled by different toursist agencies to make money on disasters and catastrophes. What do you all think, folks? Can disaster toursim be approaved?

It does not only help people understand that atrocities that some people have gone through, it might help people remember or make them more aware that life cannot be taken from granted and help them appreciate more what they have. Plus, if people go to these places, it is likely that they will be staying for at least a day, which means they will be spending a little money in the area. I might be a little na�ve here, but I think spending money in those places might help people get back on their feet and rebuild. In that perspective, I do not believe disaster tourism is wrong.

I guess the right and wrong of it depends on people's motivation to see those places and what they make of that experience.
