In A of the quote, I think that 'I saw' is not necessary to understand the meaning of sentence A. How come 'I saw' is in A and what does it mean?

It is there to indicate not only that the other paper was turned in last year, but that the speaker saw it with his or her own eyes, so knows first-hand that there is some plagiarism now. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
