"Once you get up, the day is underway. So it is with the other tasks of life."
In the following situation, we don't answer like "So I am."
A : "I'm hungry."
B : "So am I."
If so, why did the above sentence use "So it is" instead of "So is it"?
Is it because if we add some modifying expressions like "with the other ...." to that kind of expression, inversion doesn't occur? |

Such inversion occurs in short agreement using so, neither, and nor.
I love stinky tofu.
So do I. (Not So I do.)
I don't like rap music.
Neither do I. / Nor do I. (Not Neither I do or Nor I do.)
No inversion occurs in the original sentence. Rather than worry about when it doesn't occur, focus on when it does occur. Just a suggestion.
