Hi, teachers
Is the following sentence correct : For all that he is rich, he lives a modest life? I thought the phrase"for all" should be followed by a noun phrase instead of a sentence structure.

It's correct, but rather stylistically formal (some might say archaic). It's a bit like saying "As rich as he is, he still lives a surprisingly modest life."
You're right about for all. It is normally followed by a noun or noun phrase.
But not always:
"All for one, one for all."
