I'm going to take a wild guess here and assume you mean "Do you want to paraphrase the following sentence for me?"
"We Almost Died Laughing" is a joke. This is the title of a book about the role of humor in socialist societies under totalitarian regimes, such as the old Soviet Union under Lenin and Stalin. Sorry, but it's really hard to effectively paraphrase a joke. My only hope is that knowing what the book is about will be enough to help you "get it."
