Do i put is or are behind the human?
for example
Human is a race
Human are a race

Hi,
Human is singular, so use "is".
Examples:
Every human is entitled to be treated with dignity.
Each human on Earth is important.
The human race is being threatened by global warming.

Humans is plural, so use "are."
Examples:
Humans everwhere are worried about the swine flu.
If all humans were treated equally, there would be no war.
Most humans just want to be happy.
