Excuse me,

I want to ask the usage of pusher.

If John had been trying to help Peter become a president.

Eventually, Peter became the president as John had expected.

Can we say that Peter's pusher is John?

I don't know how to describe this word (pusher) in English.

Are there any synonyms for pusher?

Uh, you wouldn't say John is Peter's pusher unless John happens to be selling Peter illegal drugs, such as cocaine, marijuana, heroin, etc. Shocked

The word pusher is a slang term for a drug dealer, at least it is in America.

Thanks for your help, Greg.

I know one of the meanings of the word pusher

means someone who sells drug.

And now I know I had better not use this word.

Still don't know how to describe John by using one word though...

The second one: "John is a supporter of Peter."
