It is time that you __________ home. Don�t stay at school too late.
(A) to go (B) go (C) went (D) gone
The answer is (C), but how about (B)?

Use past tense went here. I doubt seriously you'll find a single grammar reference that will give you any justification to use present tense go in this structure. Now, that doesn't mean you'll never hear a native speaker say it, but it's nonstandard in my opinion.
