Dear teachers!!
In recent year people have become more concerned about environmental problems.

About "become concerned about"
What do you mean by "concerned about"?
(1) be worried about
(2) be interested in
(3) depending on the context about whether you can decide (1) or (2) |

First off, it should read years, not year.
It's actually more of a cross between the two, rather than an either/or situation. If you are concerned about something, you are certainly interested in it; you are also a little bit worried about it. It may vary in intensity according to context, but it's fundamentally a little of both.
