No, they're not both OK. Use impressive.
This is an exception to the principle concerning -ing and -ed adjectives. You may have learned that -ed adjectives describe the way you feel while -ing adjectives describe the thing that makes you feel that way. That's generally true; however, there are many adjectives that don't strictly follow that principle, and a good number of them have adjective forms that end with -ive.
