Hi,
There is a difference between "in a short time," which means quickly, and "for a short time," which means temporary.
Examples:
--He will need to find a job in a short time. (He'll need to find a job quickly.)
--He will need to find a job for a short time. (He's looking for a temporary job.)
I'm not sure which meaning you want in your sentences. I hope this helps! |
