Hello, teachers!!

(1) The job is finished.
(2) The job finished.
(3) Once the job is finished, I will not have anything to worry about.
(4) Once the job finished, I will not have anything to worry about.

I believe that (1) and (2) are both correct, but how about (3) and (4)?
In my guess, (3) is correct because the subject of the two sentences is the same, and (4) is correct because the subject of the two sentences is not the same. Is this thinking logical?

thank you in advance.

1. Is OK.
2. Is Ok, but doesn't mean quite the same as 1. The tense is in the distant pastrather than the immediate past.
3. Is OK.
4. Does not work, because the tenses are not consistent. You need to say, either: Once the job finished I did not have anything to worry about, OR Once the job had finished, I didn't have...( or hadn't) etc

Dear pugachevV:

Thank you so much for your great explanations. I understood the differences among the sentences.

Take care and have a nice day!!
