Happy New Years in Japan 
New Years in Japan is in January 1. There are many traditional cultures in New Years in Japan. We send a card to our friends for greeting in New Years. However, that traditional culture is on its way out in generation of young people. Nowadays most of us send an E-mail for greeting. I also sendan E-mail. It is not polite greeting in New Years.
I think everyone is busy so they don�t have any time to write a card for each person and E-mail is easy and very fast to send. I also have to write a card but I often rely on an E-mail.
