Hello,

I need your help:

1. This picture shows a desk is placed betweeen man and woman.
2. This picture shows a desk is placed betweeen a man and a woman.

Here in this sentence which one is correct or more correct?

Or are both correct?

I know there are some phrases omitting article "a" or "an": for instance, bride and groom.

Looking forward to your explanation, thank you. Smile

The second sentence is correct.

The first sentence is wrong, unless you mean the desk in question is somehow positioned between two groups, one composed of every man on earth and the other similarly composed of every woman.

This seems unlikely. Shocked

Also, neither sentence has any real need for the word is. And try to limit the number of e's in between to two. Wink
