Hi, teachers
Would the following sentence seem strange to a native speaker:He gave up in the face of difficulty? Can the phrase "in the face of" be an equivalent to "being faced with?"
Thanks. |

Yes that is exactly what the term 'in the face of' implies. _________________ Centennial College Rocks! |
