Hello, teachers. Could you help me?
Are these four sentences grammatically correct?
If not, could you correct them?
1. Smoking causes serious diseases like lung cancer.
2. Smoking has much to do with serious diseases such as lung cancer.
3. Smoking has a close connection to serious diseases such as lung cancer.
4. Smoking has a close relationship with serious diseases such as lung cancer.
I would like to know which verb(s) I should or should not use in this contect.
Thank you in advance.

They are all grammatically correct.
The verb you use is up to you.
It is generally agreed that smoking can cause lung cancer. But, because it can does not mean it always does. |
