Hello, teachers!!

(1) The longer I lived in Spain, the more I liked the country.
(2) The longer I lived in Spain, the better I liked the country.
(3) The longer I lived in Spain, by far better I liked the country.
(4) The longer I lived in Spain, the by far better I liked the country.

the ..., the ... is difficult. Which one is correct? Or are there many correct sentences?

The first two are correct. The second two (3 & 4) are incorrect.
