In the above quote, 'No matter your mood, there is a Shakespearean play to appeal to you.' is correct grammatically?
I think 'No matter what your mood is, there is a Shakespearean play to appeal to you.' is correct rather than it.

Can you tell me if I'm right or wrong?

Yours is grammatically correct, but the original is much more common and is the phrase you should remember and use. Greg
