Dear teacher,
Can you help me? I have found that in the old text book, there is an expression "go on a holiday", but in the new text book "go on holiday". I wonder if they are both right,and if so is there any difference?

They are both right and are pretty much equivalent. They are also typical of British usage: Americans usually say "go on (a) vacation."
