Hello,
I am wondering about the use of "better off ...".
For example, we can say, "You are better off going there in the summer" (which I am sure is grammartically correct).
But can we say, "You are better off to go there in the summer"? I'm sure I've heard people say this before. Is it grammatically correct, just colloquial or my complete imagintion ... ?
Thanks for any help in advance |
