Hi! my name is johanna and i'm a new english's student. I'm from Venezuela. I have to do a homework about foreing people (not Latin American) who are learning english, so if you are from Europe or Asia, Could you answer this questions??
- where are you from?
-What's it looks like?
- what's your name?
- what do you do ?
- how old are you?
- and why are you studying english?

sorry i can't use perfect english to describe about my city....
I am from Canton(GuangZhou)
The capital of Guangdong province since Ming dynasty; international port of transportation and trade, dominate port of entry for tourists; has the title of "South Gate of China"; used to be called as "Yangcheng" and "Suicheng" with a history of 2,200 years, regarded as the the earilest among the international trade port cities in the world; built as Chuting by the Chu people on the middle reaches of the Yangtse River in the 9th century B.C.; established as Nanhai Prefecture in the Qin dynasty and became Nanyue Kingdom in the Western Han dynasty; the starting point of the Silk Road on the sea which links China with the Arabian and western countries in trading; the China's only foreign trade port at sea before the Qing dynasty

I am a 26-year-old man, from the city of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China. My name in chinese means 'Poplar Summer'.I am a governmental worker, called as 'the national public servant' in our country.

English is a very popular specialty, professional capacity and vocational qualification. English learning and studing is even becoming a social vogue today in China.

For me,it is purely a hobby by now.I enjoy studying the overseas people,societies and nature.I like to communicate with people from all around the world.English will do much for me amongst these works.
