Dear String, 'Yet' is an adverb. It's like the negative form of 'already'. Like 'I finished it already/ I haven't finished it yet'. Those 2 sentences are the opposite....You can use 'yet' in a question and it's not negative. Like 'Have you finished it yet?'....'yet' is always used at the ends of sentences, whereas 'already' and other adverbs can also be put before the verb. ok? -- Eric |
